How do you turn on your Nuzzy?

On the underside of the Nuzzy is a battery box. Open the velcro strap. If the TRY Me tab has not been removed, pull the tab. Move the switch on the box from DEMO to ON. Now your Nuzzy will respond to your voice and your touch.

How do you turn off your Nuzzy?

On the underside of the Nuzzy is a battery box. Move the switch from ON to OFF. 

What is DEMO mode?

DEMO mode is a presentation mode for stores to display the Nuzzy's in. Nuzzy Luvs ship with DEMO mode enabled and have a TRY ME tab to activate the batteries. Even if the tab has not been pulled, the batteries may be depleted. For best results it is suggested you replace these with new batteries. 

How do you change the batteries?

Adult supervision is required. Open the sewn hatch on the bottom of the pet. Unscrew the battery hatch. Install 4 LR 44 batteries with the positive,+ flat side up on all. Be sure the batteries are properly seated. Replace the hatch and screw snug. Requires 4 LR44/AG13 1.5v Batteries. Always replace used batteries with fresh alkaline batteries. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Do not mix old batteries with new, do not mix alkaline with standard carbon zinc or rechargeable nickel cadmium batteries.

How to wake my Nuzzy when it goes to sleep?

When left alone, your Nuzzy will close their eyes and start to snore! To wake your nuzzy, pet it on the head and it will respond.

My Nuzzy is not responding...

If your Nuzzy is not responding, turn it off and back on. If it is acting sluggish or has problems responding, you should check the batteries and replace them.
